This wooden bowl was found by a construction worker behind a wall in a building that was being repaired after storm damage. The building was occupied by Thomas Alva Edison. I acquired this unique bowl from the person who found it. The bowl is made from one piece of log. Not sure of the wood maybe white ash? The bowl measures 4? high by 10? across, the inside depth is 3?. The outer part of the bowl is shaped concave. The bowl has hundreds of wood age lines. There is a very small sliver missing from the bottom rim. However, other than that, this piece is in excellent condition and has no cracks or brakes. It is still the way it was found, has little dirt and mildew stains.
