Hello everyone. I just picked up a nice little Victor VV-X this afternoon. A spring assembly is all that I need to get it up and running.
Does anyone on list have one that would fit this machine that they can part with? If it matters, it is not a table model. It is an upright floor model. Please contact me off of list if you can help. Thank you for your time. I see that more often on the other list...Keep up the great work Loran... after all....you are getting paid so much money each month for your efforts. .. :) -------Original Message------- From: Antique phonograph discussion list for pre-1930 phonographs Date: Saturday, October 18, 2003 10:55:41 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Phono-L] A Statement From the List Manager Friends, It has come to my attention that some remarks were made about Phono-L and me on another phonograph list that were, to say the least, inaccurate. The moderator of that list would have people believe that Phono-L is full of sniping and bickering, spinning into chaos, with me as a heavy handed list meister (my paraphrase, not his). I've always considered Phono-L like a kitchen table - come in, grab a brewski (or ice tea), sit around with your friends and talk about recent finds, etc. For those of you on both lists, you know the truth. I don't feel that I need to defend why Phono-L exists or how I run it. Just don't believe the revisionist history that's being spread over there. The are quire expensive and I have seen them go for $ 500 or so. Maybe also a Victor Exhibition with long throat would work or you can get a good copy of the Concert from Jerry Madson while you wait for the original. > > Good luck and Best regards > Friedhelm > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Vince Capobianco" <[email protected]> > Date: Sun, 12 Oct 2003 17:40:44 -0400 > To: "Antique phonograph discussion list for pre-1930 phonographs" <[email protected]> > Subject: [Phono-L] Victor A Reproducer > > > Hello All, > > > > I am in need of a reproducer that would be correct for a Victor A. > > > > I have been told a Victor Concert long throat would work.
