I'll have to check my Columbia book when I get home but many of them have
the feed screw under a cover, usually below the reproducer. You should have
some kind of lever that lowers the reproducer onto the cylinder and at the
same time, lowers the half nut onto the feed screw. You may want to try
oiling through the little holes that you see too. Make sure the reproducer
slides back and forth freely in the upper position.

Subject: [Phono-L] Graphophone C or Universal

Hello all,

I just got a Graphophone C but I did not find a feedscrew and the reproducer
will not move on an Edison Cylinder when I put one on.

Am I missing something or what do I make wrong? Also is the position of the
repcoducer a little too high to reach the cylinder when properly mounted. It
is a reproducer that can record and play with 2 glass needles. Maybe it is
the wrong one of the model?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards and have a good weekend.
Friedhelm
