Ron, I happened to see a needle cup (complete) for sale on e-bay tonight. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ron L'Herault To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, November 15, 2003 10:30 PM Subject: [Phono-L] Parts needed
A fellow I met today just bought a Victor Victrola, VVXI and needs a couple of bits to make it complete. Does anyone have a nickel plated key and the top to the used needle cup for sale? If I had to offer a guess, I would say it was made around 1920-1922. I found the picture that I shared with you by doing a Google search for "William and Mary Edison". I found this link and got that picture from that source: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Delphi/7057/phono.html There are others on this list who are much more experienced and knowledgeable on the subject than I am. Perhaps someone knows about a book that might shed more light on the subject? I checked my books and it isn't pictured or referenced in those publications. Good luck in your detective work.
