I am starting to recover from the two thousand mile round trip from Oregon
to southern California and the CAPS sale. I sold three out of the five
machines that I took and the group from Oregon purchased some very fine
machines including a Columbia BJ with mahogany horn, Berliner, Victor I
(big case), Victor II, an unusual European machine, and a small tin
machine. My big purchase was two original Victor posters. While there, we
were invited to see two terrific collections and the experience was
wonderful. The banquet was exceptional and featured a talk on tinfoil
machines by Rene Rondeau. The CAPS sale was dealer friendly and my overall
experience was very positive. Jerry Blais
