This is a bit outside of Edison's and Victrolas, but I thought that someone might be interested...
I sometimes buy 78's and Edison records from a guy here in Des Moines. Recently, he bought about 15,000 78's and related materials from an estate sale. Included in what he bought were about 200 "ET's". These are the really large records that radio stations used to use. They are about 18 to 20" in diameter. Included are some recordings of Cisco Kid episodes and many different types of radio commercials such as "Butter Nut Bread" and different types of farm implements.
