To all you fine Oregon people, I am so sorry I didn't
have time to visit on my trip there last week. Yes Ed,
I was in Oregon....We went to perform at the
Pick-A-Thon Roots Music Festival in North Plains. I
stayed in Hillsboro, and I must say the whole area,
Portland, etc was absolutely beautiful. I could almost
abandon my life here to move up there. I felt like I
belonged there..people were so nice and friendly,
there were trees everywhere, people cared about the
environment...what a great trip. I went on Amtrak so I
got to see much of the countryside on the way. We are
going back in the spring, so hopefully I will get to
visit Jerry, Stan, Ed and everyone else!!
