In all the Edison Disc machines I've had over the years, including the Edisonics, the ones with the original cloth had a diamond pattern in the cloth. I've seen it in a dark brown, dark green, and a very light beige or creme. That one is in a 1926 Chippendale console that I bought from the original owner and still have. The cloth is still perfect. Antique Electronic Supply sells cloth very similar to that. The old samples I had were very close. The newer samples of supposedly the same cloth are very different. I had one of the Art Models pass through my hands years ago and it had plain cloth behind the grill. (no diamond pattern) I'll do some further checking.
