Eight yrs ago Wild Bill had two Alvas at Union for sale,  I remember well 
because I was surprised that there was little interest in them.  One had two 
Cygnet Brackets back to back.  Jerry told me that stores used to mount 2 
cygnet horns back to back for advertising displays.  In any case the Alvas 
were both model B's and had different motors in them, but they both were 
marked Edison.  Jim Kenealy took one look at them and bought them both for 
$1600. apiece.  I believe that they are still in his collection.  I still 
ponder why there was so little interest in them then.  Al Menashe
