Hi Ron, Whether rare or mundane, the novelty of having a set of 8 (sounds complete) glasses that are actually etched, and getting them for 3 bucks each is a good deal. I know that RCA did have glasses (12oz tumblers I think are the ones I saw) and I recall them as having been used as employee gifts/service awards in the late 70's or early 80's. But they had probably also issued sets earlier than that for the same use. You might snoop around in some of the glass collector forums to nail your set down for sure....Walt
