Hi, Does anyone have an iron and brass top O with a serial number above 12557? Or a pot metal top below 14266? 5502 is the lowest iron and brass serial number I have on file. 70766 is the highest large top serial number for an N-56 except for one with a serial number of A287 I know of. The O's and N's shared serial numbers when the N came along. Around 50000 the large tops were made of a good pot metal like the diamond B that remains in good condition.
The R and S shared serial numbers, I have never seen one of these above 30000. I am interested in hearing from anyone that has an all brass top O, the iron and brass the whole top except the name plate is iron and a magnet will stick to the sound tube.
