Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the Edison Diamond "C" reproducer used in the Amberola
models, is made of Pot metal and therefore suffers damage due to the brittle
metal ? I believe there were two types of Diamond "C", the early one having a
nickle coated finish and the later one being finished in black. Were both
versions made of the same material (ie) Pot metal.
Thanks
Richard.
P.S.
Were there any pot metal parts on the Edison Diamond Disc reproducer ?

Hello

A friend of mine just bought a Zonophone Concert Grand with some decal
issues. Someone wrote over the Concert Grand decal with a thick silver board
marker, and the hamburger style decal on the side is also somewhat worn. Is
there a source where these can be purchassed?

Also, is anyone reproducing the zonophone brakes (just the spring metal
piece that stops the turntable)

many thanks

Rob
