Phonofriends, I would like to thank everyone that has purchased something to help me buy my Alva. I'm getting near the end of my fund raising and thought I would offer a few more things. I have the following:
Vic I with brass bell horn. It's an early Vic I in exceptional collector quality condition. The case has original finish, the nickeling is excellent, the back bracket paint and striping is nice, the turntable has very nice original felt and the horn is excellent. The horn is 19" long and has a 12.25" bell with an excellent black background decal. I think the horn is quite unusual and must have been an optional horn for the Vic I and it does taper down to accept the small size elbow. The horn has original black paint in excellent condition and the brass bell is exceptional (not perfect but about as nice as any I have seen). The Exhibition reproducer is early and has the round needle hole. An ordinary Vic I would probably sell in the $1200 to $1300 range. The price for mine is $1350 and I don't think you will every have the desire to upgrade from this machine. Vic E rear mount. The above description applies to this machine and it is offered with the same horn. The Exhibition reproducer has the quick release lever. Price is $1400. Vic IV with #19 black horn. This machine has its original finsh and the nickeling is very nice. The #19 black horn is exceptional and has the original black paint, decal and striping. The price is $1800. Thanks for considering the above machines. The prices may not be a bargin but they are a good value. I need to raise just a little more money and when I reach that point I will stop selling so the above machines may or may not be for sale for very long. I'll be home today after church so email or give me a call. Thanks, Jerry 541-926-2843
