Pooley's are a very nice well made cabinet. The best method in regards to finding a key is to remove the mechanism from the cabinet and take it with you to some antique shops. Several shops offer keys for sale and I would try inserting these keys in the mechanism until you find the one that works. This is how I found my key. As for paper ledger each one vary's depending on how many records your cabinet holds. We need this information firsts so the correct ledger can be copied for you. -----Original Message----- From: Richard Rubin <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, 21 Jun 2005 03:04:47 +0000 Subject: [Phono-L] Pooley record cabinet
I have a Pooley record cabinet (the kind with the record-ejector in it) and I'm wondering if anyone out there has one, as well. If you do, I have a few questions: Do you happen to have the key to the cabinet? If so, would you kindly send me a picture of it, so I'll know it when I come across it someday? Also, would anyone consider making a copy of the long paper record ledger, the one that runs across the top of the ejector? Mine doesn't have this ledger; I'd be happy to pay for a copy of it. If you're not sure what a Pooley record cabinet looks like, write me and I'll be happy to email you some pictures of it. You can write me directly at [email protected]. Thanks! _______________________________________________ Phono-L mailing list [email protected] Phono-L Archive http://www.oldcrank.org/pipermail/phono-l/
