In fact, I'll bet the housefly is more aware of the world around it than the people it pesters. I know quite a few kids, in their 20s and younger. They're nice young people. They like my old car, so I've asked them what happened in 1918, just to relate it historically. You get that vacant look. Not one could think of anything that happened in 1918. One took a stab, "World War II?"
