Sorry, this is not exactly phonographic!! ...........

But is it just me that has the feeling that one has to be more wary these 
days then ever before. Living in the modern world seems to be becoming more 
difficult. Looks like that after the ‘electronic age’, we are entering the 
‘rip-off age’.

Ebay aside, :-(  it seems that a growing number of people who perform 
service tasks, e,g. utility or car repairs, painters, plumbers, contractors, 
whatever, seem to be out to make more than an extra buck by taking advantage 
of peoples’ (I mean average Joe like me) good nature & ignorance. I’m sure 
that 20 years ago the level of honesty was higher?

I got set off on this rant as during my small car repair this week, the 
mechanic has ‘found’ about 25 other things wrong (yea right its almost a new 
car!). My cousin called me during my ‘peak annoyance’ phase and told me to 
channel my annoyance into something positive by visiting a new website 
www.mecustomer.com and leaving a  rating on the service received, and so 
assist other consumers. In time there will then be fairly comprehensive 
overviews to help people make better choices – like a qualifies 
recommendation..

Companies that are not focused and honest will have to adjust their behavior 
or disappear!
