Limited seating available; first come, first served. As a bonus, conference registrants are likely to find many treasures at the Austin Record Convention. Advertised to be "the largest sale of recorded music in the USA," the convention will take place at the Crockett Event Center, during the weekend of the conference. Conference attendees may also want to check out the Austin Fine Arts Festival, April 2-3, at Republic Square Park. Explore the booths and shop the artwork of 220 of the nation's top visual artists. The festival includes non-stop, eclectic, live musical performances. For a change of pace, try Spamarama, the "World-Famous Pandemonious Party of Potted Pork," April 2, at Austin's Waterloo Park. Join the three-ring circus, consisting of a Spam Cook-Off, the Spam Jam (a day-long musical event), and the not-to-be-missed Spamalympics. Anna-Maria Manuel ARSC Outreach Committee Chair
