It was incorrectly identified as being from 1914, but the sound of it was obvious to me- made before Edison reduced the volume and frequency response of the 4 minute cylinders, because the wax Amberol material couldn't hold up & was quickly cut away in playing. Anyhow, listen carefully to this selection & see if you don't agree that it's one of the best of that period! ps - "The Flying Squadron" was an endeavour of the British Navy in 1869-70 ... nothing to do with aviation
