Hi Ron ~

I don't have any N.O.S. replacements for that particular motor, but I
have two complete used ones, including all the associated pivoting
plates, rollers, idler wheel, etc. Of these two, one has a stiff
armature, but the other one takes off readily and comes up to speed the
instant voltage is applied to it.

I've repaired bunches of these over the years, and generally speaking,
they can be refurbished to run reliably and at the correct speed. Once
in a while, I get one that for peculiar reasons won't come up to speed
(could be bad field windings or a bad armature), but usually all they
need is a thorough disassembly, cleaning with a good residue-free
solvent, and lubrication with appropriate oil (I usually use Tri-Flo).
Also if the rubber isn't too bad, it can be reconditioned with rubber
revitalizer that you can get from electronic suppliers.

I do have some New Old Stock rubber idlers and drive wheels, perhaps
ones that would be correct for your motor if needed.

What's the trouble you're having with yours, and have you taken any
measures to restore it?

Best,
Andy
