I recently had a new stylus made for my D 25 DD machine because I noticed lines being made in the run out of a white paper label . I got the stylus back and tried it on the run out- Lines again! I then tried it on other disks, both etched and white paper label -no lines!. Has anyone ever heard of/encountered a softer surface on a DD record?
