Here is the 2nd half of that yard sale find, they are really beautiful 7
1/2-8" by 11-12" color prints attached to framable heavy cardboard-paper, and
these look to be from the same era maybe earlier, I am guessing 1890's) but
these obviously did not come out of a magazine or book, but rather were
purchased individually. Some look like prints of actual portraits others look
like prints of colored photos. The color is really striking on most of them.
They include:

Mme. Rosa Sucher as Isolde
Rose Caron as Desdemona
Herman Winkelmann as Walther Von Stolzing
Calve as Carmen (this one is really bewitching)
Van Dyck as Lohengrin
Frau Katherine Klapsky as Isolde
Albert Niemann as Tristan
Mme Marcella Sembrich as Violetta
Alvary as Siegfried
Edouard De Reszke as Mephistopheles(Really Sinister)
Emma Eames Story as La Contessa
Carmencita

for you Opera buffs out there, what would have been the origin of these
magnificent prints? would they have been available for purchase at Opera
Houses like the Met?
