My dear sweet wife went to an antique sale and bought me a phonograph.
It's an oak Cicilian upright (with grill, extra crank hole, and loose
veneer on the lid) with an Edison diamond disk mechanism including a heavy
reproducer (dance?). The finish on the reproducer and mechanism is so so
and the reproducer is missing the stylus. The good part is that she spent
only $50 for the outfit. As you may have guessed, I appreciate her
generosity and effort but I'd love to get part of my money back. Any
interest or offers? Thanks, Jerry Blais (Oregon)
