That's pretty strong.  I always suspected Edison lifted all his technology
from Victor.

You know what would be fun?  Composing a mock listing with as much
misinformation as possible...  could even PhotoShop some phono parts
together as a pic (like a Columbia internal horn phono with an Edison crane
and 2 Edison horns, a la Duophone, with a Brunkswick Ultona
tonearm/reproducer assembly, listed as [what else?] mint condition, all
original...  Decal would maybe be a Path? rooster standing in for Nipper
with "EDISON Magic Notes Echo All Over The World" motto below...)

But then, truth is the seed of humor that makes it funny.  Maybe we have
enough 'mock' listings on eBay already.
