Hi,

Did the early Edison business phonographs have the standard length of 
record?  I am talking about the wooden case ones that came out before the 
Ediphone.  I also have a celluloid 'blue Amberol' type of Ediphone six inch 
record, how were these recorded on?  Mine is from a bank.

The reason I am asking is that I just won this standard size recording blank 
and the inside is reinforced like the later Ediphone blanks were, but this 
one is black like the early 4 minute recording blanks were.
