Hello Eric: The trowel weight N was used on the Amberola V and VI with the number 56 "usually" stamped on the weight but there are examples without the 56. The N 56 in the Frow/Sefl book and the Frow Companion is my reproducer but I do have others that leave off both the number and the V stanchion lift pin. The later was found on the Gem E and Standard E, as standard equipment and was available by separatre purchase for other late models to allow the playing of black wax Amberols. It was the only saphire point reproducer to appear in Edison catalogues well into the production of blue Amberols.
