I am working on a model a gem whith the speed knob on the left side. I have a knob on a rod that goes through the case with a small spring and a collar on it. The rod has the piece that rubs against the left side of the governor threaded in to it but jno matter how i try to adjust itthe governor will not spin. Has the governor been taken apart? Perhaps the disk is too close and needs to be moved down the shaft a bit?
