A good friend, and a skilled phonograph restorer & technician, asked me to post to this list a question about the Fairy Phonograph Lamp that he recently restored. He is looking for a silk lampshade for his Fairy, original or reproduction. Does anyone know of a source for these lampshades? He was quoted a staggeringly high price for an exact reproduction by a custom lampshade manufacturer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
