hi george and all
i agree with what you say
i enjoy being single because its make it easier to collect too
wives seem to enjoy it at first until we get a large collection
then as we get more primo machines they shake their head at their cost,
but as we all know, we love the machines first but they do make a fairly good
investment.
i for one enjoy my concert / opera. it is my work horse when i play all my
cylinders.
it has the best sound as far as i am concerned, but like you i have a few
jewels. most of the rest are nice machines but the hunt is the most fun not the
ownership.
happy collecting to all
rob

Neat phonos, Loran!

Just won this vintage real photo of a Columbia-Europa in use:

My Europa phonographs are featured on the intertique web site at
http://www.intertique.com/1914Page2.htm . I'm always looking for
catalogs and/or advertising featuring these machines - and of course,
different examples of these phonos. If you have any info or something
you want to part with, drop me a line!

Regards,
Loran

I hear what you're saying about being single, but I want to make it
clear that I much prefer Barb to phonographs! She has only one tiny flaw: not
being fascinated by phonographs & related items. She does, however, tolerate
them well. I count my blessings...

Well, my wife loves 'em. She even hunts down phonos for me on occassion.
She allowed them to take over the family room!
