How about closet rod? Take a trip to your local Home Improvement store.
The base and top would be flat squares applied to the cylinder, I would
imagine.

Subject: [Phono-L] corner colums

I am building a small box whose design is inspired by some of my
Columbia and edison cabinets that have a column applied to each corner.
Where can I buy small turned columns like that? Are there products
available for restoration that I could use> Im looking for something on
the order of 4-5" high and 0.75" dia. with base and top. I cwould
then cut out a 90 degree section to apply to corner of box so it would
look integral to the box ...but turning is not an option for me. .

I can buy somehthing longer too and cut out the section I need.

Any thoughts appreciated.
