Since not using outlook may not be a viable solution for everyone, how about keeping your Windows Operating system up to date with Windows Update and make sure you have a Virus checker installed with current files. Both of these things can be setup as automatic updates and it will keep your computers safe and working. I've never had one of these attacks hit my systems.
