I am in the middle of restoring a Victor E rear mount for resale and have a question for the group. The horn is spotted with light rust over most of it. The decal is OK. I want to repaint the horn but save the decal. Has anyone repainted a horn and saved the original decal? If so, how do you cover and not damage the decal so the horn can be painted? I am concerned that tape might damage the decal. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks, Ken B. If you don't have your copy yet, you can check out my ad in the March issue of "In The Groove", or e-mail me for the information. You can also get a copy from Les Royer at Victrola Repair Service.
