This should definietly be turned over to eBay...
It has been turned over to ebay. They DO make it hard to lodge a complaint
about fraud but once you get through the complaint maze, an email can get
through. However, they will not give you any information regarding their own
progress because of "privacy" regulations. I expect that we will hear nothing
about it from ebay.

Subject: [Phono-L] cracked cylinders - Blue Amberol core fix -
Message-ID: <[email protected]>

Greetings Everyone:

I seem to remember a Blue Amberola repair article in the Journal of the
American Phonograph Society sometime back in 1968. Essentially what it put
forth
was that the remaining plaster on a Blue Amberol is knocked completely out.
The bottom end fold is cut out then a shaved bad wax cylinder is cut down
slightly on one end to fit into the celluloid shell. The old moldy useless wax
cylinder becomes the new core for the Blue Amberol record. Crazy idea but it
works well.

May all your finds be rare ones,

Al
