Hi list:

I was invited to browse an old Victorian home with phonographs and 78s tonight.
I explored and touched a Victor 8-35 X with a mahogany finish. the other
number on the ID plate was 2095

This may go on the auction block on July 10th. I am wondering what the price
range is as I will consider bidding . I was told it was in good condition.
It does have some veneer problems at the rear on the top, however it is loose
to the touch. any suggestions as to a range of value would be appreciated.

I do realize this is subjective however wanted to get some idea.

Thanks for the info in advance.

Bob

Hi list:

I am looking for Robert Baum Bach's email address. I had it from him, however
seem to have misplaced it.

I believe his new edition of " Looking For The Dog " may have been available
this spring and want to get a hard copy

Thanks

Bob.

I go to the Union show to buy things to fix up. Year
before last I filled my van and spent $8000. Last year
I spent $5000. This year I spent just under $400.
Thats four hundred.
Its the last time I'm going. Everything is grossly
overpriced and its just not worth it anymore. I heard
the word 'Ebay' echoing around the place everywhere I
turned. A machine that would have had a price of 450
on it last year, was 700 this year. Forget it.
