I appreciate all advice I have recieved. The phono was not in that great shape. There was plenty of wear and tear. I have learned more about this item then anything I could find on the web. Thank you so much.
I will approach this guy with an offer of 200.00. I assume that the dealer purchased this phono at auction for too high of price. I have haggled with him before on other phonos. I remember he had a Diamond Disc H that was in horrible shape. It would have cost me plenty to restore it, but hey thats what drives us. But he would not negotiate below 500.00. So oh well.
