I assume you are getting the digest version of Phono-L. If so, then you 
will have to scroll down through abbreviated headers and quoted replies 
to see the next message. This is just the way a real, honest to 
goodness email list works.

There are other ways to read the list. You can set your account up for 
individual emails (usually fewer than 10 per day for this list). You 
can also read posts on-line at 
http://www.oldcrank.com/pipermail/phono-l_oldcrank.com/

For posters, this does bring up the old issue of 'netiquette'. When you 
reply to a post, please cut your quotes down to what is needed for 
clarity. In other words, there is usually no need to keep the last 5 
messages (with each footer) in a reply.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns about 
how/why this list operates, you can email me directly at 
[email protected]. I'll implement any suggestion that is possible and 
makes the list better.

(Please don't bother suggesting Microsoft compatible solutions. This 
list runs on a Linux/Apache server)
