If so, then you will have to scroll down through abbreviated headers and quoted replies to see the next message. This is just the way a real, honest to goodness email list works. There are other ways to read the list. You can set your account up for individual emails (usually fewer than 10 per day for this list). You can also read posts on-line at http://www.oldcrank.com/pipermail/phono-l_oldcrank.com/ For posters, this does bring up the old issue of 'netiquette'. When you reply to a post, please cut your quotes down to what is needed for clarity. In other words, there is usually no need to keep the last 5 messages (with each footer) in a reply.
