Hi Peter,

I can recommend the Bogantz diaphragm. The Waltrip Styrofoam sounds a bit
better than a good original diaphragm, but the Bogantz eliminates the
distortion that both the Waltrip and the original has. It sounds good on the
regular, and better on Edisonic. The Bogantz costs $6 and it sounds better
than the ones that sell for around $20.00.

If you are interested in this let me know and I will provide more information.
If you do not do reproducer work I will be happy to install the diaphragm for
return shipping and parts only, and you only pay after you have it back and are
totally satisfied. The reproducer is not modified at all.

  Folks -

Since the death of famed reproducer experimenter and rebuilder Bob
Waltrip, has anyone emerged as a person interested in experimenting
with getting the best quality sound out of the Edison diamond disc
  reproducer?

  Steve:

This kind of reminds me of those Nigerian scams that establish bank accounts
in Europe. The odd twist is, the sentence structure of the seller is much
like those fellows that sell crap-o-phones out of Shanghai.
