Since Randy is still among the living, I'll just say "All Hail Columbia!" I was merely using that as an example. I once saw a very nice upright Graphonola(sp) that I would like to own, even now. The bottom line is, I have a weakness for any old phonograph, and would try to save any of them from sad fates. My wife drags me to a local craft store periodically. This store has a book section. One book on "Shabby Cottage" furniture has a gutted Victrola on the cover that has been painted white and "distressed." Ugh. Randy
