Hi all,
Didn't think "they" would ever come up with a crapaphone in a children's
phonograph! Wish I could figure out height on this one on EBay..
But I would like info on a real one. It is a Phon-ola children's Phonograph.
Tag on inside lid reads; "Phon-ola, Manufactured by Phonola Manufacturing
Co., Dayton, Ohio.
I have no clue to date of manufacture or info on this company, when they
were in the phonograph business, ect.
This children's phonograph stands 20 1/4" high, cabinet made of wood and has
a fast and slow speed knob on right side, several inches in front of crank.
Has 10" turntable. I purchased years ago at local auction, without
reproducer. Had reproducer attached and restored to play by a dealer.
Does anyone have one like this? What type original reproducer does it have?
Any info appreciated.
Thanks,
Joan
