Oh what a brain buster....If I could I'd buy them both! Probably I would buy
the one with the upside-down logo as being more collectible, like that stamp
with the upside-down biplane!

Question: You are in the market for a Victrola XVI
and you have a choice between two machines. Both have
identical golden oak finishes and excellent gold
plating on the bright parts and both are spring
driven. The ONLY difference is that one of the
machines has an upside down decal on the inside of the
lid. Which one wold you buy and why? So you think
such mistakes were never made, especially by superb
Victor quality control? Wrong! In one of the superb
collections in the Northwest there are several Vernis
Martin Victrolas and one of them has an upside down
decal in the lid!
