Hi all Anyone know where I can find a really nicely striped and lettered Fireside model A bedplate? I love my Fireside, but the lettering is faded, and the 2/4 minute lettering is pretty much gone. I got a call from a lady who needed repair to her Fireside (purchased at a garage sale) and when I saw the bedplate it took my breath away, it was so minty. The striping and lettering was all intact and bright, and I thought it was a redo, but it was all original. Now my Fireside, workhorse that it is, looks less than to me! I guess that minty one spoiled me..so I would like to find a really nice bedplate for this fireside. The original case was badly redone, so I got a nice orignal case (with a less than perfect decal) so I don't feel that bad about switching out the bedplate to make it a nice package. Can anyone help? I don't need any of the hardware, or even a gear cover as mine is nice. All I need (I mean want) is a nice bedplate itself! Thanks John Robles
