I, too, was greatly saddened by the death of Aaron Cramer. He was an inspiration to me when I began collecting phonos and was most hospitable when I visited his home in Brooklyn. I will never forget the thrill of meeting both he and Allan Koenigsberg at his home and having a phonograph discussion! I knew so little about this stuff and they knew so much! I actually grew up in Brooklyn not far from Aaron's home. My interests in music started in Brooklyn. But I started my phonograph collecting in Denver and then realized that I had to go back to Brooklyn to meet some of the really big guns in phonograph collecting. It was just a wonderful time for me. I saw him last when my wife Terry and I sat with him at the last auction at the Union show. He was always fun to be with, and will be greatly missed. I now am really sorry that I never got to visit him at his most recent home in N.J. where he was so proud of his recently constructed phonograph museum. I send my sincere condolences to Aaron's family ----Art Heller
