Hi all: this won't affect many of you as you are all over the world. But I
know some are close to Philly.

As I favor to a friend, I picked up a floor Model Edison Disc Phono Model
A-100 today and need to turn it over quick.

This is the model which has a shelf instead of the storage area below the
phono. The machine needs some restoration. The spring works but the mechanism
to
make the tone arm swivel needs some lubrication. So I can't play it. There
is some of the veneer missing from the shelf. It has both the original Edison
Factory Serial # plate and a separate one for "The Edison Shop, Newark, NJ"
where it was originally purchased.

This could either be restored or used as a parts machine. It was stored in
the last owner's garage.

As a first pass before offering it on Craigs List locally, I wanted to offer
it on the Phono lists.

It MUST be picked up in downtown Philadelphia within the next two weeks. I'm
asking $125.00 for it now. If I post on Craigslist it will probably be for
$150.00 and some antique dealer will probably buy.

Again, It does not play in the current condition but all parts are there. It
is being sold AS IS with no warranties. I can send send photos if interested.

the one above): [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected])
