On the subject of phishing, spoofs, etc... Does Ebay actually do anything about the bogus "2nd Chance Offers". I have received quite a few of them shortly after a phonograph I bid on closes and I was the second highest bidder. I have reported them to Ebays spoof address and always just get a form letter response. It would be nice to hear that some of these fraudulent spoofers get caught and hung out to dry. But that is just my humble opinion. Edison Phonographs with the optional "Special Decoration" as offered in the catalogues are indeed rare. We showed a "Triumph" with special decoration, mahogany cabinet, and a Weber repeater in our first book, "The Talking Machine Compendium." In subsequent books, we've shown a "Home" with similar decoration, and our next book will show -- of all things -- a "Gem" with special decoration. George Paul
