Hello all -

I am looking for an original OR good reproduction front grill for an Edison
Amberola 1-B. I have heard of great reproductions made but cannot remember the
details. Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated!

I am in a Dixieland band that played at the Oaks Ames house at Borderland
State park in Easton MA today. The house is like a time capsule and I
asked if there were any antique phonos in the place. I was shown a nice
Victor Granada that they demo to school kids. Unfortunately, the reproducer
shell is cracked. The back part looks great though. Does anyone have a
decent front shell or a serviceable reproducer they'd be willing to part
with? I think they have a budget for things like this so it would not have
to be a donation. I'm going to donate my time to give the unit a little
tune up and to seal up the joints. I don't think it will sound as good as
it should until a better reproducer can be found though.
