I've had one for about 30 years I converted it from the magnetic speaker to 
the RCA 106 unit. Not an easy conversion, but worth doing. Normally, the 
Radiola 18 is a pretty bland set, but the Loudspeaker 106 chassis makes a 
good sounding set out of it.
