The seller ironage is legit. They have an established reputation selling phonographs.
It looks like the seller whose ID is now "wiganathleticno.1" has hijacked the account of the user previously named "6928carl". The ID was changed on July 2. It looks like all of the auctions he presently has running were also previously listed by other sellers. I really had eyes for the McIntosh MC7150 Amplifier he has listed, but that one too is a fake and was listed previously by another seller, and so on and so on. Note also that all the auctions show as being in Michigan, but the account shows it is [now] registered in the U.K. This has become a common practice on eBay. Curiously, eBay (at least when I sent emails last month concerning a similar scam) writes back to ME asking for more information. So I just replied and told them to take a break from their coffee break and LOOK at ALL the items the seller has listed and they can verify that this is egregious fraud. I guess they figured I was just some jealous or disgruntled eBayer complaining for no real reason. Sadly, the original account holder will probably pick up the financial tab of all eBay costs and all the money coming to the account will be funneled through PayPal or Western Union into some untraceable overseas post office box. Sort of gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling about doing business on eBay. And here I thought I would go one day without finding 6 or more reasons to leave eBay forever....
