Hello, all: Is this what Lambert cylinders in decent playing condition bring? The seller mentions that the cylinder probably needs to be reamed. Can Lambert cylinders be reamed like BA's? Even though I have owned Edison machines and records for almost 30 years, my phonograph world is small, and Lamberts have not been a part of it. I'm sorry if my question seems naive. ebay # 6595670718 Randy Minor Hi Randy, I think that this price is really quite high for a black Lambert. From my limited experience, pink Lamberts seem much more desirable and top prices for those seem to be about $300 at most. Sometimes you can get these for $200 or less if you are lucky. I have a few pink Lamberts and they do tend to shrink. Since they do not have any plaster cores, you will be reaming the ends, so you have to be careful you don't accentuate any cracks which may be starting on the ends. I'd love to hear anyone else's experience with them. ---Art Heller
