Early on, I emailed the seller to explain what he had. I received this gracious 
reply:

Thank you so much for your time and help. It is greatly appreciated. You are a 
credit to ebay. I will either add to the description or cancel the add and 
relist it more accurately.:+)
   
  We'll see what he does. I try to educate people where I can, especially if it 
seems they honestly don't know what they have. There are nuances in the 
descriptions where you can tell someone is out to rip pweople off, because they 
use just enough to make the uninformed think their item is real without 
actually saying it is real...
