It is interesting to note that the current high bidder for Guido's Idelia on
eBay, now at $22,600, has only 9 positive feedbacks in 5 years, yet was the
winner of the Auxetophone last February. Obviously, this bidder is a very
selective advanced collector who wants and buys only the finest. Good luck to
him.

I asked the seller if I could pay and pick up the machine in person since
I live in Washington (I don't really). His response had nothing to do
with my question, in Nigerian English.

"Good day, My name is Martin Trance and i have this EDISON IDELIA D2
CYLINDER PHONOGRAPH for sale. The price as you probably know is 1899 usd.
As soon as you ll decide to buy the PHONOGRAPH i ll need your address to
ship this. You need to have the cash ready,i cant wait for a loan cause
may take several days. The money will be transfered under my name as
soon as you ll check the shipping.Let me know soon. Thats all i have in
mind for now but please e mail me so we can talk more. Have a nice day"

Heh. Any thoughts on a good response to keep him going?
