I own one BA, a British series, #23008 titled 'March, "Strathspey & Reel",
Highlanders Pipe Band' The quality is quite good.

Not so great, Peter. Fraser, aye now there's a bonnie scots name! The Blue
Amberol I have is not the best example, but the sound of the drones is sort of
hidden in the background. Naturally drones are a background tone anyhow, but
seems more so on the cylinder I have. I would like to hear a mint copy of it.
The one I have is 'Atholl Highlanders'. I also have a 2 minute wax from Britain
of John McLeod, that one is somewhat better. I also have Irish (Uilleann) pipes
on a 2 minute wax, much different sound, more sopranoish than the Scots pipes.

it'd be interesting to hear from members who have any. one would
think the better quality of the Edison media and recording might let
bagpipes really sound great compared to acoustic disc.
